FBC AGM 2019: March 18
March 18: Finnish Business Council's Annual General Meeting at 6.30 pm.  All FBC corporate members, who have completed the FBC Membership fee 2019 by March 4, 2019, are eligible to vote. The invitations will be sent out to the FBC main contacts informed on March 1, 2019. AGM material will be shared next week. Mark the date and reserve time to vote for the new FBC board.

 Upcoming  events March 7: ScandBizBar networking night. SwedCham together with the sponsor of the evening, EGN, welcome all Nordic Chamber members to the second ScandBizBar gathering of 2019, Thursday 7th of March. To embrace the goodness of Scandinavia, we invite you to Mikkeller Bar, serving a broad selection of Danish micro-brewed beer. This networking event is open to all, so please bring your colleagues and friends. The 60 first members of SwedCham/DABS/FBC/NBAS will enjoy 2 free beers/glasses of wine.

March 11: FBC members exclusively only the LEGO visit. You have the possibility to hear about LEGO working philosophy. Only a couple of seats available. Please, register at the latest on March 4, 2019, by emailing to Minna Hyväri.

March 19: FBC's sister chamber SdedCham organizes "A Morning seminar Focusing on the US-China Trade Conflict". The trade war between the US and China has overthrown macroeconomic fundamentals calling for urgent revisits to market strategies not only for China but also the ASEAN markets. As the US-China trade war goes on – how should businesses navigate to minimise risk and capitalise on opportunities? Please, join the breakfast seminar with SEB's Head of Asia Strategy, Eugenia Victorino, and Head of Business Sweden Beijing Joakim Abeleen, and Head of Business Sweden Hanoi Björn Savlid.

March 25: Smart Cities Network event. Embassy of Finland - Team Finland organizes an event on Smart Cities and sustainable city development. More information to come.

FBC member Innovation House Finland in Singapore launch March 8: Innovation House Finland in Singapore organizes its business opening in the evening. All FBC members are welcome to the launch! SwedCham is hiring SwedCham's General Manager (GM) is moving on and the chamber is seeking her replacement.
