Looking Back to 2018
Last year was the busiest year in the record with FABG. During the year our board organized a total of 15 different events. One of the highlights of the year was the opportunity to host His Excellency Consul General Ambassador Manu Virtamo while he visited DFW area. He also assisted us in building new connections to the local Mayors offices and Chambers of Commerce.
His Excellency CG Virtamo has been very supportive to our Finnish community and our guild’s activities. One noteworthy result of his visit was the mobile passport machine service which we received from the consulate. This allowed close to one hundred Finnish passports to be renewed here locally. Our board wants to thank CG Virtamo for everything and wish him all the best for his retirement.
