Here comes FBC's latest news and the event information.

Past event All four Nordic business groups organized a networking evening event "Employment Regulations" on April 24, 2019. Keynote speaker Mr Bob Aubrey, Eurocham HR-committee, shared with us valuable information about the employment regulations in Singapore.  The panel discussion on how to solve employment issues and real-life examples was moderated by Ms Lotta Patrickson (CAPA HR Consulting) and the panellists are Mr Emil Akander (Business Sweden), Mr Jens Mundbjerg (Grundfos), Mr Anders Ranchil (Telenor)  and Mr Sam Yuen (Yuen Law LLC) with Mr Bob Aubrey. The event was hosted by Nordea and supported by Nordic Innovation House and Donzere Wine.

Save the date May 29: FBC Corporate member BD Asia Consulting will give an insight into "Business Communications with Chinese-speaking". Ms Gao Bo gives real-life examples how Chinese culture reflects also to business negotiations. More information soon. Mark on your calendar!
 Upcoming Nordic events
May 2: SwedCham welcome all Nordic Chamber members to the last ScandBizBar gathering for this spring season, taking place on Thursday 2nd of May. To embrace the goodness of Scandinavia, we invite you to Mikkeller Bar, serving a broad selection of Danish micro-brewed beer. This networking event is open to all, so please bring your colleagues and friends. The 50 first members of any of the Scandinavian Chambers will get 1 free glass of wine/beer. FBC member Actxa invites you to join the new programme
Actxa invites you to participate in a 6-week Community Engagement Program, you’ll get to contribute valuable insights into the planning and refinement of their latest breakthrough innovation of Actxa Glo. The Actxa Glo is a heart rate tracker featuring Pre-M™Diabetes, a non-invasive blood glucose monitoring technology that predicts your blood glucose levels based on your heartbeat data. To get started, please complete the questionnaire by 15 May 2019. Actxa will inform you if you are selected for the programme.  EuroCham events May 3: EuroCham will celebrate the 69th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration of 1950 that led to the creation of the European Union. About 200 guests, including Singaporean government representatives, CEOs and managing directors of major European and Singaporean companies, the diplomatic circle and the media, attend this prestigious luncheon.
